Natalie has been passionate about yoga since the first class she took in college, but it wasn't until many years later that her passion for the practice would turn into more. After earning a masters degree in Psychology she took years off from working to be a stay at home mom. Coming back to yoga after having kids made Natalie fall in love with the practice all over again. When she saw the profound effects that simple breathing techniques had on her own young children, Natalie decided to learn more by taking her first teacher training. Her intention was merely to deepen her practice and explore the idea of becoming certified to teach kids yoga. It's been 5 years since her first training and for the past 4 years Natalie has enjoyed teaching yoga to both kids and adults alike. Being a wife and mother of 3 constantly keeps her on her toes and her yoga practice is a way to calm and center herself. Yoga has taught Natalie to bring those calm and centered feelings from her mat to her everyday life. Through yoga she has awakened a trust in her body, her practice and herself that was not there before. As a life long student of the practice she is continually learning about herself and humbled by the journey. Natalie is grateful to share yoga and all the benefits it has to offer with others. Mindful movement, breath work, balance, alignment, and focus are key factors in her approach to teaching. Having taught over 6 different types of yoga as well as meditation and pilates she brings a variety of styles into her teaching. Natalie's goal is that every student feels their strongest inside and out and walks away from class feeling better than they did before class.
