SOLID GOLD DANCE IS MOVING!!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of Solid Gold Dance! Our community is growing and evolving, and after many wonderful decades at our current location, we are expanding!

We are taking this as an opportunity to continue to build upon the amazing foundation and roots that Solid Gold Dance, formerly Pam Rossi's Dance Ten, had placed in this community. We know this change is best for everyone all around and have been working tirelessly to ensure that this transition time will be as smooth and beneficial as possible for our dancers and families.

We are delighted to inform you that Solid Gold Dance has secured a fantastic new location that is significantly larger and better equipped to support our growing and thriving dance community.

Here are some highlights of what to expect in the new space:

* AIR CONDITIONING and HEATING throughout the entire studio. This will be such an exciting change for us all!

* THREE FULL DANCE STUDIOS: Our new location will feature three spacious dance studios, allowing us to expand class offerings and introduce new programs.

* ENHANCED VIEWING and SEATING/HOMEWORK AREAS: Families and friends will enjoy more comfortable and ample viewing spaces, as well as designated seating areas and space to relax or for our students to complete their homework.

* MULTIPLE RESTROOMS: No more lines with only 1 restroom to use! We will have 3 restrooms in our new space.

* PRIME LOCATION: Situated between Amazon Fresh and Lucky Strike, our new location offers easy access to food, coffee and ample parking. It is centrally located in Moorpark making it accessible to everyone.

Thank you for all your continued support and dedication to Solid Gold Dance. We are so thankful for the community and opportunity to continue to offer an exceptional dance environment in a loving space and that is because of all of YOU!

We are so excited to embark with all of you in the next chapter of our story.

Best,

Rachel DuBusky

Our mission is to teach each student to work passionately but also to contribute something to the lives of others through their creative expression.  It is our goal that each dancer develops not only as an artist, but more importantly, they will have developed as strong, gracious human beings who also aspire to be positive role models IN THIS LIFE.

About Our Companies....

The competing dance companies have dancers ages 4-19 and attend at least one dance convention per year to further their training. Dancers participate in a minimum of 4 dance competitions within the Los Angeles area. Our National Competition at the end of the season will be July 2025 in Las Vegas. The competition team is a wonderful opportunity for any dancer that LOVES performing on stage! It’s a team and family here at Solid Gold and it gives each individual the chance to find their inner voice and get to move through music to showcase their self expression. Dance helps shape young artists into confident, responsible, resilient and compassionate leaders. Having this community and the arts gives a growing mind a grounded sense of self in a place many call their home away from home. Please reach out to us if you are interested in learning more about our beautiful team! We can’t wait to meet you!

PAT JACKSON MEMORIAL DANCE SCHOLARSHIP

Dance Scholarship

Pat Jackson was a dance educator who was presented the Bob Fosse Educator Award in L.A. in 1997. This scholarship is being given in her honor. Pat was positive, inspiring and a loving dance instructor that didn’t just motivate thousands of students in dance, but motivated and inspired others to live life to it’s fullest and follow their dreams. Everyone who met her felt a special energy and love she had for all of mankind. Pats legacy still lives on in the hearts of her dancers. Pat’s philosophy and love for dance is still very much alive previously at Dance Ten, and now her legacy still continues on at Solid Gold Dance.

This scholarship will be given and awarded to a dancer who will benefit and train very hard to be the best that they can possibly be in the art of dance. The dancer who qualifies for this scholarship must have at least 5 years of training at PRDT/SGD.

This dancer will be considered an ambassador to the dance studio and a top and positive role model for other students. Students need to submit a one page letter why they think they want and deserve the scholarship. Please describe why you like to dance and write a little information about yourself. Submit no later than May 26, 2024. This dance scholarship will last from July 2024 to June 2025.
